Kara has more than a decade of experience representing individuals and businesses of all sizes in civil litigation, both in federal and state courts. Kara’s expertise encompass complex commercial litigation, real estate, family law, intellectual property, and antitrust law.
Prior to opening her own practice, Kara spent six years as an associate in the Litigation & Intellectual Property practice group at White & Case LLP, were she represented a variety of Fortune 500 clients across the globe in commercial litigation and intellectual property matters. Kara was a three-time recipient of the firm’s Pro Bono Honor Roll award for outstanding legal service to non-profit and disadvantaged clients.
At Hofstra, she served as the associate editor of the Hofstra Law Review and received Excellence Awards in both Appellate Advocacy and Transactional Lawyering. Kara is admitted to practice in New York State and is also a licensed real estate broker in New York and North Carolina.
